Create a work of art for the wall with texture and personality. "Working with clay is quite a sensuous experience," Anna says.
Paint the canvas, and let it dry.
Knead white and red clay together to make different shades.
Roll out the clay on a cutting mat to a thickness of approx. 0.5 cm.
Cut rectangles of various sizes with a ruler and a utility knife. You can use the squares of the cutting mat as help. Also, make a circle by cutting around a small bowl. Cut the circle in halves. Smooth the surface of the clay pieces with water and a paintbrush.
Press wooden stamps in a couple of the clay pieces.
Let the clay dry. When the pieces are dry, smooth the edges with sandpaper.
Place the clay pieces on the painted canvas in a formation to your liking.
Glue the pieces to the canvas with a glue gun.
Frame the canvas.
