Whisk butter, sugar and vanilla sugar into an airy mass.
Add one egg at a time, while you continue to whisk.
Mix flour and baking powder in a different bowl, and then carefully add this to the dough.
Pour the dough into a baking mould and turn on the oven to 175 degrees.
Cut the apples in slices and flip them in sugar and cinnamon.
Put the apples on top of the dough and sprinkle with almonds.
Bake for 40 minutes at 175 degrees in a fan-assisted oven.
