Anna and Clara have been in the forest with the nephew and nieces. Together they have gathered leaves, pine cones and branches for the deer head which will decorate the dear little ones' room.
Draw and cut out a shape for the deer head out of cardboard from a box. Save the leftover cardboard.
Now, draw half circles on each side of the head and cut halfway into the cardboard.
Remove the upper layer of the cardboard but leave the corrugated cardboard underneath.
Glue dried leaves to the upper middle of the head and paint small dots on these. "If you would like your leaves to be completey flat, you can iron these under baking paper," Anna says.
Draw a mouth with a marker and glue a pine cone on as a snout.
Cut two eyes out of the leftover cardboard and draw pupils on these. Glue the eyes onto the head.
Glue on two large leaves as ears and two branches as antlers onto the back of the head.
Cut a piece of metal wire of about 4 cm, and bend it in the middle. Glue this on in the middle of the back about 0.5 cm from the edge as a hook for hanging.
