Candy cane Christmas wreath

Cut the straw wreath so you have a long tube instead of a wreath.

Shape the straw tube into a cane, and wrap metal wire around it to tighten it and keep the shape in place.

Cut the spruce branches in smaller pieces.

Attach spruce pieces on the cane with metal wire. Start in one end, and continue until the entire cane is covered in spruce.

Tie a piece of broad red ribbon around the end of the cane and wrap it around the cane over and over all the way to the other end of the cane to give the candy cane it's stripes.

Finish the ribbon at the end with a nice big bow.

You can add little Christmas baubles, string lights, or something similar, or leave the candy cane simple as is.
