"Making one's own everlasting flower is quite clever if one has trouble keeping the real ones alive," Anna chuckles. Follow Anna's simple guide and make a pretty plant which will not wither.
Find a flowerpot, fill it with dry floral foam and cover with potting soil.
To make a plant equivalent to a medium-sized plant, Anna recommends that you make three leaves out of one A4 piece of cardboard. Paint your leaves as Anna shows in the video or after your own imagination. Let the leaves dry.
Take three stem wires and twist floral tape around these, so you get a thick branch.
Cut the dry leaves out of the cardboard. Turn them backside up one after one and glue the stem wire onto them with a glue gun.
Cut out a small piece of regular paper. Glue this over the stem wire to conceal where the stem wire has been glued to the leaf on the backside. If you want, you can add details to the leaf's backside as shown in the video.
When you have added stem wires to all the leaves, you can stick these directly in to the flowerpot with the floral foam.
