“Snowdrops are a sure sign of spring,†Anna smiles as she finishes yet another snowdrop made of paper. This snowdrop can last for the whole spring.
Print out the template and cut it out.
Cut off a piece of white crepe paper and fold it so that it has three layers. Cut the layers out together, so you get three petals. Depending on how many flowers you would like to make, you can repeat this step.
Cut off another piece of white crepe paper, smooth this out by tugging it a bit and cut out the next template. This template has small arches on one side. It will be used as the inner part of the snowdrop.
Draw on small v’s at every arch of this cut-out with the green marker. Glue this onto the metal stick with the glue gun by twisting it around the metal stick while gluing it on. The metal stick can be shortened with the side-cutting pliers and can be used to make 2-3 snowdrops depending on how long you wish to make them.
Also using the glue gun, glue on a petal at a time, there should be three petals per snowdrop.
Make a long band out of the green crepe paper and smooth this out with your fingers. Spread craft glue along the band and twist this around the metal stick, so you now have a stem.
Cut out long, narrow leaves of varying sizes out of the green crepe paper and glue these onto the stem, towards the bottom, with a glue gun.
Twist yet another band of green crepe paper around the stem.
Finish off by tugging, shaping, and twisting the leaves and petals lightly, so they look like a real flower.
