Drum ornament of cardboard roll

Every year, the sisters decorate the Christmas tree with carefully kept heirlooms, new whimsical baubles, and homemade ornaments. Create your own Christmas ornament and let the memories of these cosy times decorate the year's tree.

Cut the cardboard roll in the middle. Then, use the cardboard roll as a template and draw out two circles on a piece of red felt.

Cut out the circles and glue them to the ends of the cardboard roll using a hot glue gun.

Cut out two strips of felt in a thickness of around 1 cm.

Trace the placement of where the strips will be glued onto the roll and draw triangles on the rest of the cardboard roll as shown in the video.

Paint the triangles alternately in two colours of acrylic paint.

Create a loop out of twine and glue it to the back of one of the felt strips.

Glue the felt strips around the cardboard roll in both ends. Your drum is now ready to decorate the Christmas tree.
