Download and print the template. Divide the egg into four parts by pressing a precision knife a little into the egg so you get four wedges in the egg with a depth of about 3-5 mm.

Use the template to cut two sets of two different coloured or patterned pieces of patchwork fabric.

Push the edge of the cut-out fabric parts down into the wedges on the egg using a precision knife. It can be a good idea to use the part of the knife that is not as sharp.

Grab your ribbon and tie a noose at about 12 cm from the end of the ribbon.
