Lovely napkin ring

As always, the sisters’ preparations for the final evening of the year include a festive table arrangement and decoration. Anna is currently applying the finishing touches by creating lovely napkin rings.

1

Select crepe paper and design paper in the colours of your choice.

2

First, cut the large flower petals and the three long pointed leaves of crepe paper. Then cut out the smaller flower petals of design paper. As indicated in the template, the paper should be folded when cutting the flower petals. Thereby the paper can be unfolded for two petals to emerge. Additionally, cut a ribbon of crepe paper.

3

Unfold the flower petals and twist in the middle at the joint of the petals.

4

Take you ribbon of crepe paper and pull it to straighten it out. Apply glue on a shortened stem wire and twist the crepe paper ribbon onto the stem.

5

Glue the crepe paper flower petals onto the metal wire, and then glue the small design paper flower petals onto the centre of the flower.

6

Now, apply glue on the long leaves and continue to twist the crepe paper ribbon around the metal wire until you reach the end.

7

Apply a little bit of glue on the middle of the flower, and carefully dab on a few foil flakes.

8

Now gently shape and twist the leaves to give your finished flower a natural expression.

9

You can now wrap your beautiful, finished flower around each napkin on the New Year’s Eve table setting.
