The sisters enjoy finding new ways of including nature’s motifs in their home décor. These lovely little mushrooms become even more quirky when Anna cuts them in patterned design paper.
Download the templates, print, and cut them out. If you prefer, you can transfer these to a piece of cardboard, as this will make it easier to work with the templates.
Place the templates on the design paper, draw around them and cut them out.
Using a needle, make two holes in the middle of the paper cut like template 1.
Fold the stalk in the middle lengthwise and fold the two stalk parts cut like template 2 likewise.
Fold down the stalk and attach the two other stalk parts to it with double-sided tape.
Punch holes in the cap of the mushroom with a rotary puncher.
Assemble the cap of the mushroom with double-sided tape where the stalk is folded downwards.
Place small glass beads on a sewing thread and sew this onto the top of the mushroom cap, where you have made the two holes earlier. Now, you can hang the finished mushroom ornament as a decoration.
