While Anna is busy creating clothes for the paper doll, she is fondly reminded of her childhood where she and Clara would play immensely with these. With Anna's guide, you can quite easily make your own dolls and decide their look.
Download and print the template. Transfer the silhouette to a piece of recycled cardboard and cut it out with a precision knife. Use a cutting mat.
Use the double-sided adhesive tape to attach the print of the doll to the cardboard.
Transfer the doll's silhouette with a pencil to another piece of cardboard and draw clothes on the lines.
Now, the only limit will be your imagination. You can opt to paint the clothes, dress it in crepe paper, fabric, felt or beads and cut the clothes into separate pieces. You can make details such as bows, scarves, buttons, vests, hats and much more for the paper doll. Make shoes for the doll as shown in the video.
Make hair for the doll by wrapping yarn around four fingers until you reach the desired thickness. Tie another piece of yarn around approx 1/3 of the yarn, so it becomes a top bun of hair. Cut the yarn at the other end as shown in the video, so it looks like a fringe. Attach the hair to the doll with a glue gun.
Glue two gathered magnets onto the doll's stomach and add some glue to the top magnet, followed by a top. Repeat this with a bottom.
Now, the paper doll is ready to be played with and its clothes can be changed by using the magnet.
