Adorable wrapping for soft gifts
Soon, it will be the nephew’s birthday and of course there will be birthday gifts. Anna has found an easy solution for wrapping soft gifts. “Now, the soft plush toy has a lovely temporary home,” she smiles.
Place the gift on your gift-wrapping paper, while you roll out the paper.
Measure how much paper you need by pulling it over the gift and cut off this piece. If you wish to, you can decorate the gift-wrapping paper by drawing patterns on here before you fold the gift bag.
Fold the gift-wrapping paper in both ends without having the gift on the paper. Fold this so you have one long piece and glue it together in the middle with double-sided tape.
Measure the widest point of your gift to know how wide the bottom should be when folded. Make a mark on the paper where to fold.
Fold in at your mark, and then fold into a diamond. Fold the top tip down and do the same with the bottom tip so they meet in the middle.
Glue the fold together with the glue stick and, if you wish to, you can add some decorative tape for extra hold.
Place the gift on top of what now looks like a folded gift bag. Make a note of where you will fold the paper to close the gift bag and cut off excessive gift-wrapping paper.
Flip the gift bag to the front and make a small birthday cake with decorative tape or write the receiver’s name here. “The only limit is your imagination,” as the sisters often say.
Flip the gift bag again, open the bag, and place the gift in the bag. Fold the opening of the bag and close this with decorative tape.
