Páskaskraut úr sjálfharðnandi leir
Páskarnir bjóða upp á samverustundir, skapandi iðju og kenndir vorsins ef marka má systurnar. Þessvegna njóta þær þess að skreyta heimilið með heimagerðu skrauti. Hér finnur þú innblástur fyrir 3 skrautegg sem auðveldlega má útbúa úr sjálfharðnandi leir.
In the video, three ways are shown in which you can use your egg ornaments; as hanging ornaments, as an Easter garland, or as place cards for a cosy gathering, where the guest can even take the ornament home.
Start by rolling out the clay to a thickness of approximately 4 mm. Print the template, and use it to cut out the desired number of eggs in the clay.
Pierce a hole in the top of the clay eggs, so that a cord for hanging can be attached later.
If you desire a motif, letters, or anything else embossed in the clay, do this now. For example, use clay tools or letter stamps.
Smooth the edges with a damp sponge or cloth, so they become fine and crackless. Now, allow the clay to dry completely.
Now, paint the eggs with acrylic paint until you achieve the desired expression. You may wish to draw inspiration from the sisters' ideas in the video.
Use napkins or decoupage paper to decorate the egg cup, if desired, or paint golden details, as shown in the video.
When the paint is dry, brush the clay ornaments with clear or matte varnish as desired. Once the varnish is dry, attach a string for hanging.
Now your egg decorations are complete and can be used as ornaments on a decorative branch, in a series as a garland, or as place cards for a festive Easter gathering.
