Beaded cherry earrings

Cut a piece of nylon cord of approx. 40 cm. Add three beads to the middle of the cord. Then, add one more red bead which you will bring both ends of the cord through from each side. Tighten, so the beads gather in the middle.

Add a red bead to each end of the cord. Add another red bead but bring both ends of the cord through this from each side. Tighten. Repeat once.

Add a red bead to each end of the cord. Bring both ends through the middle bead of the pattern from each side and tighten to form a little ball.

Now the cord ends stick out from the same bead to each side. Bring one of the cords through the closest bead. Continue round through the next three beads so the cord ends up in the bead which is next to the bead where it started. Do the same with the other cord. This tightens the ball on all sides.

Bring both ends of cord through the middle of the ball, so they stick out the same place.

Bring both ends of cord through three green beads. Then add five green beads to one of the cords. Bring this cord through the first three green beads again.

Tighten, so the leaf is brought in close to the other green beads.

Bring both cords through three new green beads. Add a red bead and bring both ends through this from each side. Tighten.

Add a red bead to each end of the cord, and then, add a bead where you bring both cords through from each side. Tighten. Do this two more times. Now, add a red bead to each end of the cord, and bring both cord ends through the red bead closest to the green beads. Tighten into a ball.

Now, both cords stick out of the same bead to each side. Bring one of the cords through the closest bead. Continue round through the next three beads so the cord ends up in the bead next to the bead where it started. Do the same with the other cord. This tightens the ball on all sides.

Add a metal ring to the top part of the leaf. Tie two knots and cut off excess cord. Add the cherry pendant to a hoop.
