Beaded photo holder
Inspire the dear little ones to make homemade photo holders with beads and clay. "A cosy way to display pictures, greeting cards and little works of art," Anna says. A great gift idea for the children's family members.
Cut a piece of metal wire of 70 cm, and stretch it. Bend approx. 20 cm of it downwards.
Make a loop of approx. 5 cm, and twist the two ends of metal wire around eachother a few times under the loop so you make a closed circle.
Add beads to the long end of the metal wire until you have a beaded piece of approx. 20 cm.
Twist the two ends of metal wire around eachother under the beaded piece to form another closed circle.
Add the bigger beads to both ends of the metal wire so they are gathered as one. Leave approx. 3 cm of un-beaded metal wire at the bottom and cut off excess wire so the ends align.
Shape a ball from clay. You can use a bit of water to shape the clay. Press the ball half-way flat so it lays firmly on the table.
Stick the metal wire at the end of the beads in the middle of the clay base and let it dry together.
When the clay has dried you can decorate the base with paint, beads, stickers, or other hobby items.
Press down in the top of the two metal wire circles to shape them into hearts, and display photos, invites, or this year's Christmas card.
