Bow-shaped napkin rings
As Christmas music plays softly in the background, Anna sits with her nephew, making napkin rings for the Christmas table. "The best creative project is one that both adults and children can enjoy," she says with a smile.
Start by cutting off a piece of wire approximately 45 cm long.
Find the centre of the metal wire, and bend it around a rolling pin or something else circular that has the size you find suitable for your napkin rings. Let the ends cross, so there is approximately equal wire on each side to work with.
Bend both sides of the metal wire to form two equal loops. See how in the video. Then, remove the rolling pin.
First, pull one end over the other and then up through the centre of the napkin ring, so it ends up on top between the two loops. Now, take the same end down over the centre of the napkin ring. Clara recommends that you watch how it is done in the video.
Finally, give the two ends elegant bows, and trim them. Your napkin rings are now ready to adorn the table.
