Braided Easter chick

Start by cutting out the templates. Fold the desired design paper as shown in the video, and transfer the templates onto the paper with a pencil. "Make sure to place the straight edge of the templates along the paper's fold," Anna notes.

Cut out the two shapes, and then weave them together the same way as one would braid a Danish Christmas heart.

Now bend the Easter chick's wings horizontally, and draw eyes on each side with a marker.

Pass sewing thread through the Easter chick so that it can be hung on a lovely branch. "You can hide sweet treats inside the Easter chick, giving the little ones a delightful surprise," Clara suggests with a smile.
