Butterfly money gift

A money gift does not have to be presented in a flat envelope, the sisters believe. Therefore, they encourage you to try this folding technique to give your monetary gift the shape of an adorable butterfly and attaching it to fresh spring branches. "Making an effort shows care and consideration," Clara adds.

1

Cut out a piece of crepe paper the same size as a banknote.

2

Stretch out the crepe paper and fold it against the direction of the grooves, making folds of about 1 cm, as shown in the video. Use a bone folder if necessary to smooth out the folds.

3

When you have folded the crepe paper, round off the ends with scissors.

4

Fold the banknote in half lengthwise and bend the ends into a point as shown in the video.

5

Now fold the banknote lengthwise in the same way as the crepe paper.

6

Finally, assemble the butterfly by placing crepe paper and banknote on top of each other with the banknote on top. Form a loop with metal wire and pass both the banknote and the crepe paper through the metal wire and tighten slightly. Shorten the metal wires and shape them to look like feelers.

7

Now, you can unfold the crepe paper and the banknote to form the most charming butterfly. "Feel free to hang them on fresh spring branches or a bouquet," Anna suggests.
