Cardboard cacti
Making cardboard cacti is quite a nice project to make with the dear little ones and which can decorate the children's room. "There is a lovely sense of pride when displaying something homemade in your room," the sisters believe. Find the easy guide here.
Download and print the template and cut out the shapes.
Place the templates on recycled cardboard and draw along the lines of the silhouettes. Cut out the shapes.
Paint the cactus shapes in the desired colour. When the base colour is dry, you can add details.
Cut out six sheets of silk paper in the size of 10 x 7 cm, and fold them at the shorter side like a fan, where the fold is about 1 cm wide.
Tie a piece of metal wire around the middle of the folded silk paper fan and twist the ends around each other. Cut the twisted wire ends, as shown in the video.
At each end of the silk paper cut a curve.
Now, you can separate the layers of silk paper from each other so you end up with a flower.
Gather the different parts of the cactus and glue on the flower.
