Children's drawings Christmas bauble
"The dear little ones create so much art. Soon, there will not be any more room on the wall," Clara says. And as such, Anna is inspired to find other ways for you to display children's drawings in the home. For instance in the form of this lovely Christmas bauble. "It is also a wonderful Christmas gift idea for the grandparents," she says.
Cut 70-80 circles from children's drawings using a roll of decorative tape where you use the inside of the roll as a template to draw from.
Attach the round children's drawing cuttings all the the way around the polystyrene ball using short pins as shown in the video. It can be an advantage to draw a straight line around the ball to use as a guide for where to place the circles.
Just before you attach the final row, cut a piece of metal wire of approx. 7 cm. Also cut a piece of gold thread of 30 cm.
Tie a knot with the ends of the gold thread to make a loop. Bend the metal wire in the middle, and place the thread loop in the bent spot.
Stick the bent piece of metal wire into the middle of the top of the polystyrene ball.
Attach the final row of circles to the bauble.
Finish the bauble by adding a bead to the gold thread so it rests on top of the Christmas bauble. Now, the bauble is finished and ready to adorn the tree.
