Christmas angel pegs
Gather loved ones, both young and old, for a cosy, creative moment, and make this year's Christmas tree decorations extra personal with angel pegs.
Start by painting 'feet' on the lower part of the peg.
While the feet dry, paint hair onto the wooden beads with faces. If you do not have wooden beads with pre-drawn faces, you can draw them yourself.
If you want your angel to have more hair, you can paint a small wooden bead, without a face, in the same colour, which can later be attached as a 'bun' on top of the angel's head.
While the above pieces dry, attach glitter ribbon to the upper part of the peg, both front and back, using a glue gun, as shown in the video.
Cut a circle from felt to be used as the dress. Fold it as shown in the video, and cut a small hole in the centre, so the dress can be placed around the peg. Tie a gold ribbon around the angel's 'waist' at the top part of the dress as decoration.
Thread the leather cord doubled through both wooden beads, both the one with and without a face, and tie a knot at the top. Then, use a glue gun to attach the head to the top of the peg.
Decorate the angel wings, if you like, and glue them onto the back of the peg with a glue gun.
Now your angel is ready to be placed on this year's Christmas tree. "You can also use them as decorations on Christmas presents," Anna suggests.
