Christmas elf house
Create a cosy elf home for both sweet and mischievous elves. "Christmas is a magical time," Clara smiles.
Start the project by thinning a small amount of acrylic paint with a bit of water. Apply the thinned paint with a sponge to the exterior of the wooden house.
When the exterior of the wooden house is dry, the interior can be painted in your preferred colour using acrylic paint and a brush.
Create a lifelike and cosy roof on the largest of the houses by cutting small wooden sticks in half. Attach these with a glue gun to the roof of the wooden house. Start from the bottom and work your way up, and, if you wish, add a nice finishing touch on top by laying moss or other greenery on the roof. By not applying a roof on the smaller tree house, this one can more easily be stored away after Christmas by putting it inside the larger house.
Wallpaper the walls of the elf house with charming paper that is cut to fit the dimensions of the walls. Attach the paper with double-sided tape.
Now, make a small rug out of felt, so the elf can keep his feet warm.
The small wooden sticks can also be used to build a tiny shelf for the elf's knick-knacks. Once again, use a glue gun to glue the sticks together.
Finally, decorate your elf house as you wish.
