Christmas landscape made of recycled cardboard

Create an enchanting Christmas landscape with recycled cardboard decorated with paint and ornaments. "It looks like a true Christmas fairy tale," says the nephew and points at the houses covered by snow. "This is where the elf lives and here, the tin soldier guards..."

1

Use the lid from the cardboard box from your DIY kit or another box as a background for your little Christmas landscape.

2

Paint the lid in your desired colours. Anna and her nephew have chosen to paint both the inside and outside of the lid with a dark blue acrylic paint, as well as green shades for the Christmas trees adorned with a little white snow and white snowflakes in the sky.

3

"Cut out a moon from glitter cardboard and glue it onto the sky along with sequins and white pompoms. You can also sew some pompoms onto a string and glue it to the top of the box, making it look like snow is falling from the sky. "The only limit for how you choose to decorate the landscape is your imagination," says Anna."

4

Cut out houses from recycled cardboard and decorate them with chalk marker or white acrylic paint if desired.

5

Now, place the lid with the sky on its edge, and place a layer of cotton, you can opt to add some fir branches, at the bottom of the box. Arrange the houses and any other Christmas decorations from previous projects in the landscape, and create your own little Christmas story with the dear little ones.
