Colourful candles
Decorate your home with candles and colours for a personal touch, the sisters recommend. Choose your favourite colours to make these elegant colour creations that will adorn your home or be an excellent gift to someone you hold dear.
Choose your desired colours of wax and cut them into small pieces.
Place each colour in separate glasses and heat up these in a casserole with water on low heat.
When the wax is melted, carefully lift the glasses from the casserole and place them in bowls that can withstand heat.
Dip the end of the taper candle into the melted wax. Optionally, tilt the glass a little bit, so the wax may reach more of the candle.
Add fine details by pouring the melted wax onto the candle in thin lines or dip the candle in various colours of melted wax. NB: Be careful when making these coloured candles since both wax, casserole and jars become hot.
