Create a Christmas goose in felt
Homemade ornaments in felt are a lovely addition to the other Christmas decorations in the home, and with this project you can unleash your creativity. Here, Anna shows you how to make a Christmas goose out of felt.
Print the templates and cut pieces of felt using these. You need two bodies and two wings for one goose.
Use needle and thread to embroider the pattern on both wings. Next, stitch the wings onto the body.
Place the two bodies on top of each other and sew them together along the edge of the body. Do let the back of the head and the neck be open.
Stuff the goose with padding through the opening. When fully padded, sew the rest of the goose together while holding the stuffing in.
Sew a loop onto the goose, so it is ready to be hung.
Embroider brown eyes onto each side of the goose – possibly by using a French knot.
Embroider a red beak and orange feet on the goose.
Finish by tying a red bow around the neck of the goose.
