Create enchanting string art
With the sisters' template, you can easily create a lovely design using nails and yarn. "Let an adult hammer the nails into the board, so the child can immerse themselves in the yarn's path to an enchanting design," Anna smiles.
Start by printing out the template and placing it on the painting board.
Next, hammer the nails into the painting board following the little dots on the template. Use long-nose pliers to hold the nails in place before hammering. "That way you do not hit your fingers," Clara chuckles from bitter experience.
Once all the nails have been hammered in, tear the paper from the board, as shown in the video.
Now, make a loop with yarn in your, or your child's, favourite colour, and fasten it around one of the nails. Wrap the yarn around each nail one by one until the pattern emerges.
Now your yarn art can be hung on the wall or adorn the windowsill of the children's room.
