Crepe paper autumn wreath
"Where can you find these beautiful leaves?" Clara asks when she sees the new wreath on the wall. "They are very rare," Anna says with a smile as she discretely pushes the pile of crepe paper aside.
Print and cut out the templates for the wreath leaves from cardboard.
Cut leaves of various colours and types from crepe paper. A mix of orange, white, dark red, and shades of green give the wreath a lovely autumn look.
Assemble the two-piece and three-piece leaves with school glue or a glue gun. Let the glue dry completely.
Shape the leaves with a pencil or pen which is round and has a rounded end.
Make twigs from steel wire covered with brown floral tape.
Make a little flower with three stamens and four red leaves in the end of a brown twig. Tie brown floral tape around the bottom of the flower. Add a green leaf to the other end of the twig.
Add big leaves to the ends of the other twigs. You can draw details on the leaves with markers.
Now, add leaves and twigs to the metal wreath. Alternate between glueing leaves directly on the wreath and twisting leaf twigs around the wreath for a light and airy look. You can add more leaves and twigs if you want a more dense wreath.
Add a ribbon for hanging the wreath.
