Crepe paper Christmas bauble

"When making your own Christmas baubles, you can create a Christmas tree with quite a unique look," Anna says. Clara is also very fond of the crepe paper Christmas bauble. "This one will not break into a thousand pieces even if accidentally dropped on the floor," she reminds.

1

Anna has chosen to use three different colours of crepe paper along with metallic decoupage paper. You can opt to do like Anna or choose your own favourite colours.

2

From the longest side of the crepe paper roll, cut out thin shreds with a width of both 0.5 and 1 cm. Stretch out the shreds.

3

Place a little bit of glue from the hot glue gun at the top and bottom of the bauble and secure the first 1 cm wide shred all the way around the bauble. Finish with yet another blob of glue. Make sure to cover the entire bauble.

4

Now, evenly place the narrow shreds to create a checkered print on the bauble like Anna does in the video.

5

Cut out circles of the decoupage paper and glue these to the top and bottom of the bauble. Now, hang the bauble on your Christmas tree or amongst other Christmas decorations in the home.
