Crochet a Danish Christmas cone with stripes

Anna is quite fond of the classic, Danish Christmas cone, and here, she has created a crochet version with fine stripes. It will look wonderful on the Christmas tree. Download the file to see the crochet pattern.

Crochet the handle using two strands of yarn. Pull out the end from inside the ball of yarn and use this as one strand. Count 9 sts from start of rd on cone, work 30 ch and secure with 1 ss to the 10th last st in the round. Turn, work 30 ss. To finish, work 1 ss into the 9th st. Break off yarn and weave in ends.
