Using col 1, make 51 chain stitches (ch) and work 6 rows (r) of double crochet (dc). Now fold the work in half lengthwise and join using slip stitches (ss). Fold to form a pretzel. Sew ends firmly, and weave in yarn tails. Using Col 3, sew small oblong dots (to resemble sugar crystals) onto the upper side of the pretzel. Sew here and there. Make it look random. Do not sew all the way through, only on the upper side of the pretzel. If you wish, you can sew with two strands of yarn. Weave in ends and put the work to one side.
