Dishcloth with a crocheted border
With a piece of cotton yarn and a crochet needle you can add a lovely decorative border to your dishcloths. “It gives them a fine and homemade look,” Anna says. “And it is easier than crocheting the entire dishcloth yourself,” Clara smiles.
Using crochet hook size 2.5, work 1 double crochet (dc) into each square along the edge of the dishcloth. Work 2 chain stitches (ch) between each dc. At the corners, work 2 dc, 2 ch and 2 dc into the same square. Continue all the way around and finish with 1 slip stitch in the first dc. Break yarn. Pull yarn through and weave in ends.
