Easter decoration with moss and flower bulbs

With rapt enthusiasm, Clara admires the exquisite Easter decoration Anna has made for a dear hostess. Anna must promise her to make one for them to keep, which will adorn the dining table at Easter. "It is as if spring has moved in," Clara chuckles.

1

Clara recommends that you begin by watering your soil, so it holds its shape better when you press it in your hand.

2

Take two to three flower bulbs, and press and shape the soil around them. Start shaping the soil like an egg at this point.

3

Now add moss around the soil until you achieve the desired shape and size of an egg. Wrap metal wire around it to secure the moss.

4

Next, cut the metal rods with a pair of pliers, and glue small decorative eggs and feathers onto them with a glue gun. See how in the video.

5

Insert the decorative metal rods into the arrangement around the flower bulbs.

6

Place decorative paper at the bottom of a basket, and lay the moss egg inside. Write a small Easter greeting on a manila tag, and tie it to the basket with jute string.

7

The Easter decoration is now ready to delight a host or hostess. "The decoration would also look splendid in your own home, for example, on a lovely dish instead of a basket," suggests Anna, who sometimes finds herself so pleased with a creative project that she has to make another for herself.
