Easter eggs dyed with tissue paper

Dye your Easter eggs with tissue paper, and let the little ones take part in the cosy Easter traditions. "With tissue paper, water, and a bit of patience, the eggs quickly transform into small works of art," Anna says. "And both children and adults can join in," Clara adds.

1

Blow out your eggs. Rinse them and let them dry.

2

Make sure to cover your table properly before you start colouring your Easter eggs.

3

Dip the egg into water and cover it with tissue paper. You can choose one colour of tissue paper or cut small pieces of different colours of paper to create a colourful pattern.

4

Optionally, add a little extra water on top of the tissue paper to make it stick to the egg.

5

Let the eggs and the wet tissue paper dry.

6

When the tissue paper is dry, you can carefully remove it and reveal the beautiful colours that are now dyed onto the egg.

7

Optionally, finish by painting patterns on the eggs, for instance with gold-coloured paint for an extra decorative touch. Now, the Easter eggs are ready to adorn your Easter home.
