Easter nest with feathers and eggs
Decorate lovely spring branches with homemade nests. Simple and sweet, and easy to make for both young and old, Anna and Clara think.
First, cut three pieces of jute twine, each approximately 30 cm in length. Attach the jute twine to a darning needle, and thread all three pieces halfway through the edge of the nest, evenly spaced.
Tie a double knot on each of the three jute strings on the outside of the nest, and pull the strings towards the centre so that the knots rest on the outside of the nest.
Next, it is time to decorate the nest. Use the glue gun to apply a small drop of glue at the bottom of the nest, and place a feather on it. Then, use the glue gun to attach small, decorative eggs one by one, as demonstrated in the video. "Be careful with the hot glue," Clara advises kindly.
Finally, gather the strings and tie a knot at the top. Then trim the strings.
Now hang the small nests on lovely Easter branches, and let the home exude the spirit of spring.
