Elegant paper angel

"This can be folded by both small and big hands," Anna smiles while she helps the nephew sprinkle glitter on the edge of the paper. "And the angel can decorate all the way into the future," the nephew says with pride.

1

Mark 17.5 cm on the long side of a sheet of design paper and cut the sheet in two, so you now have a smaller and a larger sheet.

2

Fold both sheets into a fan shape, with each fold's width measuring approx. 2 cm. Use your bone folder to reinforce the folds. Trim away any excess paper if it does not align.

3

Cut round corners on the edges of the fan like Anna demonstrates in the video.

4

Cut out small half hearts on the same side of the fan while it is assembled. The hearts should be cut with the same distance from the edge at both ends and between each other.

5

Find the middle of the fan and poke a hole with a thick needle. Do this on both fans.

6

Paint with hobby glue on the edges of the round corners and sprinkle glitter on top then leave the fans to dry. Anna kindly reminds that it is quite practical with a mat for this part.

7

Cut a piece of string of approx. 25-30 cm. Place the little fan on top of the larger one and thread the string through the hole in both fans, creating a loop at the top. Tie a knot with the ends at the bottom.

8

Thread a wooden bead onto the loop and tie a knot to secure the bead in place.

9

Fold the large fan in the middle and join the sides with double-sided adhesive tape. Attach the smaller fan to the larger also by one using double-sided adhesive tape. Now, the angel is ready to serve as Christmas decoration.
