Enchanting unicorn hair band
"Now, we can both play unicorns and look especially nice for your garden party, auntie Anna," one of the nieces exclaims. With just few bits from the craft room and the kitchen, Anna and the nieces have made these enchanting hair bands.
Cut out four dividers from the egg tray using your precision knife. Remember to use a cutting mat.
Cut the edges of the dividers so they are even and smooth.
Cut out two ears from the same divider as shown in the video and cut the shape of the ears.
Cut in to the sides of two of the dividers, like Anna does in the video. Avoid cutting their corners.
Paint both ears and the three dividers which will make up the unicorn horn. Here, Anna uses white paint for the ears and gold for the horn.
The two cut dividers in gold are each glued together, when the paint is dry. They should be glued so their circumference becomes narrower. One of the dividers should be more narrow than the other.
Glue pom poms in the middle of the ears.
Now, cover the hair band with ribbon using a glue gun as shown in the video.
Gather the horn by stacking the three gold dividers on top of each other. The one which has not been cut goes on the bottom, then the second largest followed by the smallest on top.
Using the glue gun, glue both ears and the horn onto the hair band. Now, this unicorn hair band can be used for play and for festive occasions.
