Fabric gift wrap

Anna smiles quietly and reminisces about joyful times gone by as she looks at the delightful fabric gift wrapping from Clara. Next time, it is Anna's turn to give it back to Clara. "It is a lovely tradition we have," the two sisters say to each other.

1

Lay the chosen piece of fabric flat, and place your gift in the centre of the fabric so that the sides of the gift align with the corners of the fabric.

2

Start by taking two opposite corners of the fabric, and gather them tightly at the centre of the gift, so that the two fabric corners point upwards.

3

Now wrap the two other fabric corners around the first two, which you are holding tightly in one hand, and tie a knot. See how in the video. "Be careful not to tie the knot too tightly," Clara reminds.

4

Add an ornament of your choice, if you like.

5

Now unfold the two loose fabric corners so they lie with the wrong side facing up.

6

Guide one fabric corner towards the centre, and press its end inwards so it is secured in the knot. Repeat the process with the other loose fabric corner.

7

Now gently unfold these two pieces of fabric, so they come together to form a fabric flower, as demonstrated in the video. Your gift is now ready to delight someone dear to you. "And the fabric can even be reused by the recipient," Clara smiles.
