Flower arrangement in a dish
"Nothing but natural materials," Anna smiles as she arranges this delicate floral arrangement, inspired by the ancient Japanese flower art form, Ikebana. Without any floral foam or wire, you too can make your home bloom with life in the early spring season.
Trim the soft branches so they are slightly longer than the diameter of the dish.
Place the branches in the dish, as shown in the video, to form a net in an arched shape that the flowers can be woven into.
Cut the flower stems at an angle and arrange the flowers in different lengths by weaving them in between the branches. Do not forget that the flower stems should reach all the way down into the dish, so they can absorb water.
Finally, pour water into the dish and your decoration is ready to adorn your home or be an eye-catching element on the dining table when dear guests pay a visit.
