Gift tags in self-hardening clay

Personalise this year’s Christmas gifts with sweet to and from cards in self-hardening clay. A lovely way to personalise the gifts with the dear little ones. “This one depicts me, and this is Aunt Clara,” the nephew chuckles while handing over the two gift tags to Anna.

1

Roll out the self-hardening clay until it is approx. 0.7-1 cm thick, and use a cookie cutter shaped like a gingerbread man to cut out small figures in the clay.

2

Make eyes and a mouth on the figure with clay tools or a toothpick and a teaspoon. Make holes in the figure’s arms using a straw or another round and narrow object.

3

Once the figures are dry, you can lightly polish them with sandpaper to achieve a smooth surface.

4

Write the names of the recipient and gift-giver on the figure, using a small amount of paint, a marker, or a pencil. Optionally, you can let the child decorate it with sequins or paint, or something else you have available.

5

Finally, attach the gift tags to a gift by pulling your ribbon through the figure’s holes on each side of the assembly, and finish with a bow.
