Homemade gift tags are a small, personal gift in itself, Anna thinks. "With linocut no two will be alike," she says. Create your own gift tags with the sisters' template for a cute horse, a Christmas heart, or a carefully decorated house.

Cut out the motif and place it front down on the linocut board. Press the pencil lines onto the linocut board with the end of a linocut knife.
Cut out the motif with the precision knife and thereafter cut out the patterns on the motif with your preferred linocut tool.
Use a piece of recycled cardboard to press and distribute the linoleum paint evenly on the roller, and then roll the paint on the motif.
Carefully place the motif on your cardboard, press the motif firmly down, and remove it.
Repeat until you have filled out the paper with the motif in your preferred colours.
When the linocuts are dry, you can cut out the motif and write To and From on the back. Make a small hole with a hole puncher and secure the gift tags to your dear ones' Christmas gifts using jute twine.
