Gift wrapping with marbled seal
"A gift wrapped in a simple style can be elevated when special and surprising details are added," Anna says while Clara is enthusiastic by the pretty and practical idea to use a marbled seal instead of tape.
Cut a piece of gift wrapping paper which is long enough to reach all the way around the round gift. The height of the paper should be the gift's diameter + 1 cm.
In the side which will make up the bottom of the gift, cut notches with the length of half of the gift's diameter and a width of 1.5 cm.
Roll the gift in the gift wrapping paper and close with tape.
In the bottom of the gift, where the the fringes are, bend one fringe after another in to the middle and stick them together with tape.
At the top of the gift, fold the gift wrapping paper in to the middle with 4 cm between each fold.
Light a candle. Here, Anna uses a tealight candle. Put three rose wax capsules and three pink wax capsules on a spoon and melt the wax over the candle.
When the wax becomes fluid in the spoon it means that it is ready. With one hand, hold the gift wrapping paper together with a flat wooden stick, and with the other hand pour the wax onto the gathering of paper. Wait for 10 seconds, and press your seal into the wax. Now, wait until the wax is quite dry, before you lift the seal off.
Tie jute twine around the the gift, tie a bow and stick a couple of dried flowers behind the bow.
