Gift-wrapping

Gift-wrapping with pocket for greeting card

“A little dash of nature makes even the loveliest gift-wrapping even more wonderful,” Anna smiles as she arranges the small, dried bouquet in the gift’s pocket.

1

Place the gift on the wrapping paper and cut the wrapping paper as shown in the video.

2

Place the gift at the bottom of the right side of the paper but leave approx. 3 cm of space both by the short and the long side of the paper.

3

Fold the top of the wrapping paper to the end, so the ends meet with a fold in the middle where the gift is.

4

Now there is excess paper at the left side. Fold this lightly at the top left corner on the outside of the gift and fold the top part towards the left side of the gift – in this video that would be the spine of the book. Even the fold out sharply so you now have a triangle beside the left side of the gift.

5

Now, fold the triangle over the gift to make a pocket on the front.

6

Flip the gift and fold in the other sides with double-sided tape or any other tape depending on which look you would like for the gift.

7

Gather a small bouquet of dried flowers and place these in the pocket with the greeting card.
