Hag stone and driftwood mobile
"Look, another one," Anna says as she holds the hag stone up in front of her eye and winks at Clara through the hole. The sisters collect hag stones and driftwood at the beach and gather it all in a mobile full of summertime memories.
Plan out how to place your hag stones and driftwood on the mobile by laying them out on the table in the right order.
Cut a piece of jute twine a little longer than twice the length of the line of stones and driftwood on the table. Lay the jute string double.
Tie a knot on the jute twine where it is folded so form a noose for hanging.
Tie a hag stone or a piece of driftwood on the twine under the noose and continue downwards in the same way until you have tied all stones and all pieces of driftwood on to the mobile. Finish with a knot and cut off any excess twine.
Hang the mobile outside or inside the home where it will be a nice decorative item.
