Homemade autumn lantern
Welcome the cosy atmosphere of autumn into your home with the sisters’ homemade autumn lanterns. Take the little ones on a charming forest walk and gather beautiful, colourful leaves. With just a few simple supplies, the leaves can be transformed into autumn lanterns, which will undoubtedly enhance the autumn hygge of your home.
Start by collecting some beautiful and colourful autumn leaves in the forest and allow them to dry completely.
Next, crush the dry autumn leaves into small flakes.
Now, choose a glass jar to decorate with leaves. The sisters suggest using an old, cleaned jam jar.
Next, apply a layer of clear varnish to the glass jar using a brush.
Sprinkle the leaf flakes over the glass jar with the wet varnish.
Finally, allow the varnish to dry. Now you can light candles in the lantern and let autumn cosiness set in. "Mind your fingers," Clara chuckles.
