Homemade paper with dried flowers
With a little help from the sisters, you can make your own paper and decorate it with dried flowers. Experience a decorative and unique creation come to life, and let it adorn the walls of your home. "This way, the paper is not just a canvas, but a work of art in its own right," Anna says.
Fill a tub with lukewarm water and place the paper in the water for a few minutes.
When the paper is slightly softened, tear it into smaller pieces with your hands, and then whisk the mass with a whisk until the paper is completely dissolved.
Now place a dried, pressed flower in your frame and lower the frame into the paper pulp. Make sure the flower stays inside the frame. Remove the frame from the tub in a horizontal position, as shown in the video, so that the pulp is distributed evenly throughout the frame.
Let the water run off the frame, and wipe any excess pulp off the edge of the frame with a cloth.
Carefully turn the paper pulp out onto a tea towel. Optionally, place a towel under the tea towel. Dab the back of the frame with a cloth to help the pulp loosen from the frame.
Allow the paper to dry entirely – it takes approximately one day – and then place it in a frame for it to adorn your walls at home.
