Hoop earrings with bead pendants

Anna carefully puts the coloured glass beads onto the hoop earring. She especially likes mixing freshwater beads and glass beads in order to achieve a modern expression. "These are lovely both as a gift for someone you hold dear, or maybe even for yourself," Anna smiles.

1

Put a freshwater bead onto a head pin and then add two glass beads. Repeat on two more head pins; first, one freshwater bead and three glass beads, and lastly, one freshwater bead and four glass beads. Now, it is time to make these into pendants.

2

Place the bend nose pliers after the last glass bead on one of the head pins and bend the rest of the head pin around the pliers. Let go and squeeze the noose, that you have made just now with the pliers.

3

In your opposite hand, take the long-nose pliers and use it to grab the end of the head pin, so it can be twisted a couple of times around itself.

4

Use the side-cutting pliers to cut off the excess of the head pins and use the long nose pliers to squeeze the end of the head pins, so the twists are nicely aligned.

5

Now, take the hoop and straighten the bended piece by the lock with the long nose pliers, to make it easy to put glass beads directly on it.

6

First, put seven glass beads on the hoop followed by the three pendants. Finish with ten glass beads.

7

Use the long nose pliers to bend the piece by the lock back to its original position, so the hoop can be closed as a finished earring.
