Christmas

Iron bead village

"Who might live there?", the nephew wonders, at the sight of the nieces' houses, which they have created with meticulous precision using iron beads. When placed side by side on the windowsill with the Christmas houses the rest of the family has made, it is as if a Christmas village has come to life.

1

For this project, Anna has used two bead plates. You may print the template and place it underneath your bead plate for inspiration.

2

Now place beads in the desired colours on the bead plate until the desired result is achieved.

3

Now iron the bead plate on both sides with an iron – and remember to place a piece of baking parchment between the beads and the iron.

4

If you wish for the house to stand on its own, you can create sides with ironed bead plates, which can easily be attached with a glue gun. The wider the sides, the more stable the houses will stand. You can also choose to glue several houses together to create an entire village street.

5

Once you have achieved the desired number of houses, they can be placed on the windowsill or hung up with thread.
