Key holder for the hallway

Create order in the family's keys with the sisters' idea for a practical and adorable key holder for the hallway. "So, no more searching for your keys," Clara chuckles lovingly at her sister.

1

Find the number of wooden beads needed for each of the household members and their key rings. Anna has chosen to make some of the key rings with multiple wooden beads.

2

Paint faces with details such as hair, mouth, and eyes on each wooden bead using a marker. Anna has also painted some small beads to serve as hair as well as dungarees for the youngest in the family.

3

Cut the number of leather cords you are making key rings for. Let each cord have the same length as an underarm. Fold the cord in half, and securely tie it to a metal ring.

4

Tie a knot further up the cord and attach the beads in the desired order. Find inspiration in how Anna does this in the video.

5

Find a wooden block in a fitting size and saw as many grooves as the number of key rings. The grooves have to be wide enough so that the leather cord can come through. In the video, Anna has left 4 cm of space between each groove. You can opt to also sand the grooves, edges, and sides afterwards.

6

Now, your key holder is ready to be hung up in your hallway as a cosy and helpful detail.
