Letter made of pressed flowers
Create a lovely little piece with pressed flowers and let it adorn your home or the door to the children's room. "You could also pass it on to someone you hold dear," Clara suggests.
Start by choosing a design. It can be a letter, number, or other motif. Draw or print the chosen design. Here, you can simply use regular copy paper.
Cut out the chosen design with a precision knife, and your template is ready.
Place a piece of cotton paper on the cutting mat and position the template on top. Secure it with a small piece of tape at the corners to ensure the paper does not move during the process. Anna recommends using decorative tape, as it is easy to remove.
Apply glue with a brush. Remember to glue a small area at a time to avoid the glue drying out while you place the dried flowers.
Place the flowers on the area where glue has been applied, and carefully trim them to fit the design. The trimmed flowers can be used elsewhere on the design. Clara reminds you to be cautious with the knife: "You should avoid cutting through the paper," she says.
When the design is finished, remove the template, and your motif is now ready to be framed or used as a card to bring joy to someone you hold dear.
