Little embroidered seashells
Anna is fond of the possibilities of embroidery to bring new life to both newly purchased as well as older textiles. For this motif, she has been inspired by life under the sea and has decorated a makeup bag with fine embroidered seashells in various colours.

Fasten the textile in the embroidery frame. Start from the bottom of the seashell and embroider long stitches to form the structure of the seashell. As the work progresses, connect the long stiches using backstitches. Work from the middle and out until the desired shape and size is created. Finish with two triangles to form the bottom of the seashell. Weave in ends.
